Natural amber is our main fascination. Our aim is to promote a new design in amber jewellery and glassware, different from traditional style. Amber Affair offers bold modern jewellery, glass vases and candle holders. Good design speaks for itself.
By having the finest and arguably the most collectible figurines in our range doesn't make us complacent, our goal is not to be the biggest but simply the best.
I make stoneware ceramics for domestic use and decoration, including bowls, plates and mugs, teapots, jugs, large bottles and vases. Everything is hand-thrown in resilient and colourful stoneware. I am inspired by the wild shores and rocky moors of the Falkland Islands, where I was born and grew up surrounded by more penguins than people: hence Penguin Pots. 
A few years ago we started our company "Made from Marble"". We loved working with marble so much that we are now also working with slate, wood and other traditional materials so that we can design and create even more of our favourite things. We have changed our name to Marbletree as Made from Marble doesn't really work when we sell slate!

My name is Nayna Mistry and I am a Reiki healer/teacher and energy worker. I am also trained in teaching yoga, meditation and other spiritual practices. Mistry Gems (formerly known as Rainbow Accessories) was born in September 2006 after I had returned from a 15 month spiritual journey in India. I decided to buy a small collection of semi precious healing gemstone silver jewellery to offer to my holistic clients in the UK as a way for them to heal blocks identified in their energy centres after their healing sessions. At the same time, I thought I would also try to sell some of the gemstone silver jewellery pieces at local craft fairs and shows. From the positive feedback received, I embarked on purchasing more gemstone silver jewellery, and so the company began.

Simon Kemp began making jewellery in 1990 under the name of Phoenix Design. He realized from the outset that silver was everywhere and there was very little for the lovers of gold that was affordable and of a decent quality. After experimenting with different processes he developed the 'gold and silver effect'. This combines solid sterling silver with a 5 micron thick layer of pure 24 carat gold. By using hard gold the jewellery lasts a long time; all of this jewellery is guaranteed, in normal usage, for a minimum of 10 years. After carefully examining each design Simon then removes certain parts of the gold layer with diamond burrs to reveal the silver. This process enhances each piece, drawing out the detail and revealing the particular intricacies within each design. Every single item is individually worked to create a consistently high quality finish.
